We had a limit of 300 registrants for RE BarCamp Philadelphia, and we are now well over that number. Unfortunately, we can’t take on any more registrations at this time. We would love to accommodate everyone and apologize if you arrived here looking to RSVP for this event.

We are now taking registrations as WAIT LIST only. No guarantee of t-shirt or lunch (and possibly entry).

Feel free to email rebcphl at gmail.com with any questions.

21 Day Blogging Challenge Contestants

The 21 Day Blogging challenge set forth in this post is officially on. While, admittedly, we didn’t give a lot of time to get ready to enter, we did have to make some tough decisions. The rules were easy: Send an email, every day with a link to your latest blog post for the next 21 days and hopefully using 21DBIH in the subject (the latter just makes it easier for the team). If you’re not on the list, does this mean you should stop? Of course not. Even the team, who are ineligible, are trying to improve by participating in the challenge. Any day can be DAY 1 of a habit. Why not today?

We did want to acknowledge all the entries that we did receive and give a little link love to boot. So here’s the entrants in no particular order:

Derek Massey, MASettlement Blog
Craig Barrett, BayToPiedmont.com
Ann Cummings, NewHampshireRealEstateForSale.com
Heather Elias, Loco Musings
Sarah Stelmok, SarahiouslySpeaking.com
Fred Carver, Victoria Real Estate
Lesley Lambert, LesleyLambert.com
Chris Griffith, Life in Bonita Springs
Janice Bovee, The Philly Pretzel
Esther Kelly, TheNeighborhoodAgentBlog
Kristina Cusick, Jambalaya Wire
Monika McGillicuddy, MonikaMcGillicuddy.com
Angela Penkin, Angela Penkin
Toby Boyce, DelawareOhioRealEstate
Monica McNamara, Monica’s Beach Blog
Kathy Sperl-Bell, Raining in Dela-Where?
Matt Wilkins, MattWilkins
Darrin Friedman, CB Blog Estate
Shar Rundio, Speaking of Phoenix Real Estate
Dale Chumbley, ClarkCountyRealEstateGuide.com
Meg Hamberg, TheHambergs.com
Stefanie Hahn, CBH Edu 2.0

Good luck getting all your posts in daily. We look forward to checking out as many as possible. If there’s a problem, or you were accidentally missed, please DO NOT LEAVE A COMMENT. Please send an email to [email protected], instead.

We encourage everyone to visit the blogs listed and leave comments.

Good luck.

Are you coming in from out of town and looking to hang out? Or are you local, and you just want to start making connections with other RE BarCamp attendees at Beer with Bloggers!

Well, due to our crack team of volunteers and a generous donation, we have the perfect location. Finnegan’s Wake has generously agreed to provide FREE beer and soda on Tuesday, May 26 from 6-9pm. We have plenty of room, so all BarCamp attendees are encouraged to come and hang out at this legendary Irish pub. We’ll be hanging out in the Quiet Man’s Pub downstairs – just listen for the fun….. that’s us !

We hope to see you there!!  If you plan to attend – leave your comment as your RSVP so we can get a good head count. ( Be sure to click the Leave a comment above)

This is for people pre-registered for Real Estate Bar Camp Philadelphia.

RE Barcamp Philly ready to roll

The RE Bar Camp train is making its way through the City of Brotherly Love on Wednesday, May 27.

Head over to the RSVP page now and sign up.

Oh, you need more information? What is an RE Bar Camp?

Well, here’s the definition from the main site.

RE Bar Camp is an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from attendees.

The basic premise is an adhoc, “unconference”. The agenda is set that day, which may seem strange at first, but it works. If you’ve never been to a Bar Camp before, you need to experience it. If you think you can pass on this event, you can’t. The information and networking involved in this setting is invaluable for your real estate career.

How can you go wrong? It’s FREE. Let me say that again, FREE. Though we definitely need sponsors.

You can also follow updates via our Twitter account REBCPHL.

We’ve also set up a group on Facebook, as well.

Not sure about Twitter and Facebook? What they are and how to use them? Then, what are you waiting for head over to the RSVP page and let us know your coming, NOW.

I’d like end this first post with the new theme song and video of RE BarCamp courtesy of Daniel Rothemal, the Real Estate Zebra.
