Waterview Hotel Room above the Casino

Nope, not Vegas- But it has a water view, so its dare I say…better?

Out of towners, or locals that want to hang out – make your Reservations at the Ameristar Casino Hotel.  These rooms are nice, and book for around $300 – but we have a special REBCSTL group rate.  Mention the Code word  and get your room for $109.

The Casino is the location for the Tweet up Sunday night, AND the post – post party Monday night. (Amerisports Pub 6pm)

Located on the Bank of the Missouri River, 1 exit East of the REBCSTL Event location.

Call the hotel at 636-940-4300 and ask for reservations – then ask for the Rebar Stl rate.

Ive also been told Midwest Hospitality is not an extra fee- So I’m booking my room for Sunday and Monday night right now!

What the Heck is REBCSTL?

REBC is the Real Estate UN-Conference.

Real Estate BarCamp is a focused, one day ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open, casual environment.

A RE Bar Camp (REBC)  is like nothing you have ever experienced.   If you long to sit in an audience and watch a bland sales powerpoint from a paid corporate vendor – the REBC is not for you.

This is a fully engaged experience where each person is responsible for their own experience.  Interaction is the name of the game.  Listen, Ask and Discuss.

This is not a Sales Platform.  If someone starts pitching / selling anything, we encourage you to get up and WALK AWAY.

You will gain valuable knowledge, insight and understanding on just about any topic  for basic or advanced users.   Recent REBC discussions have included managing a social media marketing campaign, Facebook 101,  tips and tricks of advanced Facebook, Wordpress Blogs, Twitter, Iphone help,  140 branding  etc.

Price: It’s Free. Yeah, that’s different too.

So how does the day work?

8am Volunteers work hard to make registration for participants easy first thing in the morning.

Free Coffee is served.

By 9am, As the group gathers  everyone fills out 1 or 2  Question cards.  Card One asks “What do you want to learn about” Card Two asks “Would you like to teach – if so what?”

Volunteers match up the requests, and teachers and fill a board with a class schedule.

Then the rest is up to you.  Pick a class, help as a discussion leader, ask questions, listen, learn.
