What does it take to sponsor RE Bar Camp Phoenix?

Phoenix RE Bar Camp 3 will have one level of sponsorship:

Minimum $250 donation. You are welcome to donate more. Open to as many as it takes to pull this thing off.

In addition, we have some “in-kind” sponsorships — where individuals or companies donate goods, services or time in order to make Phoenix Real Estate Bar Camp a success.

Of note, PHXREBC is NOT in business to make money. We have a budget, but we are not event planning specialists or CPAs. If we end up with excess sponsor funds, they will be rolled over to next year’s event.

What does a sponsor get for their money?

A boat load of good karma.
Exposure to real estate professionals.
Link love from this site and bloggers who promote the event.
The opportunity to put your company’s info and swag in the attendee handout bag and on the “swag table” (we like swag!)
Organizers and participants undying gratitude.

THIS IS IMPORTANT!

Please, don’t come to hard sell your services. Bar Camp isn’t a vendor show. If your product or service is great (and it is, or you wouldn’t have the progressive thought it takes to sponsor a Bar Camp) it will sell itself. You are welcome to discuss what you have to offer in the hallways and impromptu breakouts, but leave the heavy sales pitches at home. THERE WILL BE NO SALES PITCHES IN ANY PLANNED SESSION

If you are interested in sponsoring, please contact Jay Thompson at jay@ThompsonsRealty.com or 480-235-4447. We are using the Phoenix Innovation Foundation (PIF), an incorporated non-profit to process sponsorship payments by check. PIF is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization under the Federal tax code and all donations should be tax deductible. (We always advise people talk with their CPA.)
