Keep it Rockin’ and Rolling Thursday Night

On Thursday evening, after we’ve had our fill of sharing and general good times, our venue, The World Cafe Live downstairs will be hosting Sonny Landreth. A great blues guitar player, which should be an exciting show. Also, in the Upstairs, the World Cafe has said they can provide us with a Trolley for 40 people to tour the murals of Philadelphia along with a visit to Yards Brewing (it includes some beer samples too). It is called the Philadelphia Ale and Arts Adventure.

In advance, you can purchase Sonny Landreth tickets here. They should also be available the day of as well. You can even grab dinner there, as well. We will have a sign up for the Trolley tour that day.

Discounted parking for the day

Here’s a map of discounted parking lot is for the event. The cost is $15 for the day and it’s a self park lot. The attendants will be leaving at 3pm but the lot/garage will be open for people to leave after that since Bar Camp will end just after 4pm.

The Lot is located on Walnut Street, approx. one and a half blocks west of WCL, just past the Left Bank Apartment building (on right side of Walnut)

Special Rate for The Inn at Penn

We have negotiated a special rate for one of our hotels, The Inn at Penn (a Hilton Hotel). Parking is not included, however, due to an outside vendor.

A Rockin’ RE BarCamp

We know it’s been a while and it’s taken some effort this year to get the space, but we’re very happy to announce that we will be holding RE BarCamp Philly ‘10 at the World Cafe Live.
