I’d like to move beyond Facebook and Twitter. I will lead a few sessions again, probably based around mobile tech and the iPad.

I would like to lead a session or two about Renting and Property Management. Let me know if these topics are of interest.

Hi Lisa, unless you have a techy way of talking about renting or prop management, this might not be a good fit. But you’re welcome to attend and throw it up on the board as a potential topic.

Hi Nobu,
We are presenting on these topics on June 1 at the MN Wealth Builders Real Estate Symposium. Power point is the technology of choice for that seminar. We will have our iPad2s in hand by then and will have suggestions for using this device as part of a business technology strategy. Let me know if you would like us to present.

Hi, Nobu,
The info/advertising seems to indicate that this is a one-day event…June 9th; the registration page (including the auto calendar link) has it as a 2 day event (from Thurs June 9 9am to Friday June 10 1pm). It auto-filled to my calendar for the two days. Is that correct?
Thanks!
Gayle

Hi Gayle, it is only June 9th. Thanks for pointing out the bug!

Are there any plans for a “south of the river” site for a future Bar Camp? It would be nice for those who are 45 Min. to downtown.
Any suggestions?
I believe the 3 large RE companies, Edina Realty, CB and Re/Max affiliates would be interested.
Thank you Jane DuBois

It’s certainly a possibility. If you know of any sites down there with free wifi, rooms that could be enclosed, and can accomodate up to 400 people, hit us up!

Hello-
I would be happy to lead a session titled:
“The fusion of print and mobile marketing has arrived”
The proliferation of smart phones coupled with the advent of “quick reponse” (QR) codes is revolutionizing print marketing as we know it.
I am an expert on the topic.
Let me know.
Regards,
Wayne

Hi Wayne, are you signed up to attend? Feel free to throw the session out on the board the day of BarCamp once there; but I should tell you, there’s already enough QR Code talk. If you’ve got a new or novel way to use them, I’m sure attendees would love to hear it.

Hi Nobu-
Yes I am signed up. Thats great if QR codes are in the mix and I will bring it up when I arrive.
Oddly enough, as basic as QR codes are, there are some fundemental principles that even some of the large ad agencies are missing. Namely; making sure the QR code is the right size, resolution and has the proper width white border surrounding it and of course that the code directs customers to a mobile web presence/site.
Thanks and I will see you there!
