Hashtag Reminder!! #REBCOhio

The second-annual Real Estate Barcamp Ohio will use the same hashtag — #REBCOhio — as we did last year.

Don’t know what a hashtag is?

On Twitter the hashtag designates something as a “topic” and then the letters following can create a way for all the discussions on that subject to be gathered into a single search.

You can see it working “real-time” — here — as it will continually update when the #rebcohio hashtag is used on twitter.

Whenever you tweet about the Barcamp be sure to add “#rebcohio” to be included in the wave of information.

KDB Easton

Join Real Estate Barcamp Ohio 2010 at KDB Easton on Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. for Beer & Bloggers.

It has only been open a couple of weeks. And since those attending Real Estat Barcamp Ohio 2010 are among the industries early adopters we thought KDB Easton would be the perfect location for Beer & Bloggers on Wednesday, August 18, from 6 – 9 p.m.

But, Toby I don’t like beer and I don’t blog.

So?

We still want you to continue the evening with us at KDB sharing stories and taking the next step in the communication process. Philadelphia REALTOR Kim Wood – someone I’m a major fan of – refers to Barcamps as being an “entire day of that meeting you go to after a conference where you start to put all the pieces together.”

Beer & Bloggers: The Details

  • What: Beer & Bloggers
  • Where: KDB Easton, 10 min. from #REBCOhio (Map It!)
  • When: Aug. 18, 6-9 p.m.
  • Why: After spending all day learning you deserve a chance to converse with others and absorb even more great knowledge
  • Who: All #REBCOhio participants
  • Notes: KDB will be providing some appetizers for the group, Cash Bar.

In that case, the event at KDB will be simply that after-conference glow on performance-enhancing drugs. Better yet, the majority of the “facilitators” from the day’s events will be relaxing in this great facility and since we area all facilitating out of love – and not money – then we’ll keep talking about the topics of the day.

KDB is a mixture of Kitchen, Den and Bar and is similar to the Gameworks that occupied the location formerly.

The 150-seat dining area provides a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere for guests to relax and enjoy home-style cooking including gourmet pizzas & pastas, mouth-watering burgers, BBQ, signature entrées, handcrafted sandwiches and fresh salads. KDB’s Kitchen will be open everyday until close, serving its delicious menu items late into the night. Every seat has a view of TVs showing sporting or other entertainment.,/p>

Don't like beer? Well martinis are a specialty at KDB Easton Town Center.

The main feature of KDB is the Den, 25,000+ square feet filled with over 200 attractions, interactive games and top-prize machines. The Den will emphasize its Sports and Prize Zones, with football, basketball and racing simulations and billiards. The Prize Zone includes nearly 80 prize games as well as a retail store with premium prizes. The Den will feature entertainment during the week and weekends with live bands, DJs. Rock ‘n Raoke and other entertainment acts.

For the perfect spot to catch a game, KDB features not one, but two bars. Downstairs is the Sports Bar, with seating for 60 people, HDTVs, lounge chairs and sofas. Adults can enjoy signature drinks, over 30 handcrafted draft beers, as well as six pool tables, classic videogames, pinball and darts. Upstairs is our martini bar featuring a large high-definition television as its centerpiece and serving wide variety of our signature martinis and specialty drinks, full bar and an assortment of food and refreshments.

Make sure you thank Ms. Toby for getting the surgically-altered Toby to the event. She’d love a martini, please don’t tell her it was my idea.

The specialty of KDB is martinis and it sounds like they are pretty darn good. Try The Seasonal Infused Vodkas! Try our infusions in your iced tea or soda, or to create your own special twist in your favorite martini – ask your bartender or server for today’s offerings.

So just make it a day and spend it with us learning about the future of real estate and how we can put technology to use for us in today’s market.
