Info on THE Legendary #REBCCLT Pre-Party!

GOOD TIMES EXPECTED IN THE QUEEN CITY THURSDAY NIGHT!

So you’ve heard the rumors. The whispers. About how much fun REBarCamp is. In addition to it’s great learning of course! But one can not forget, that it’s not all about what’s in your noggin. It’s also very much about “NETWORKING!” And here at REBarCamp Charlotte, we are infamous for knowing how to make that all a blast.

So for our Pre-Party, we will head right across the street from our venue, to Ballantyne Commons East, for Alive After Five Ballantyne. We plan to be over there around 6 ish, but watch the #REBCCLT Twitter stream for exact location.

There will be a cash bar with several restaurants participating. And I also understand the gang with Cruise Deals will be there to register  people for a free cruise giveaway too!

Then for those who want to have a little more fun, a few of us will either drive up, or possibly take the Light Rail up South Boulevard to Uptown Charlotte for a go around on “THE BULL” at Whiskey River. Check out the video of me (Lori Bee) going a full 58 seconds on this bad boy! LOL.

We all had so much fun last year, but we will be mindful that we want to be able to get up the next morning for REBarCamp on Friday Morning! So that’s what’s on the docket for Pre-Party networking.

Don’t forget, we also have plans for a Post-Party Wine Social too. Why get in the traffic when you can relax and soak in all you learned at REBarCamp Charlotte. Looking forward to seeing you all, and having a great time, and making many memories.!

Gearing Up for REBarCamp Charlotte

Mix & Mingle with the Smartest People in Real Estate!

Wondering why all the Hub-Bub about REBarCamp Charlotte 2010?

Perhaps it’s the forum. Or lack thereof.    Perhaps it the session facilitators or the enthusiasm of the organizers.  Maybe it’s the great cutting edge information on the latest and greatest in real estate technologies and social media. Maybe it’s the best pre-parties known to REBarCamps anywhere. 

But we think it’s the attendees. Yes, you…    It’s the people who come, that make our event especially special.  Everybody knows about Southern hospitality, but our REBarCamp draws some of the most caring and intelligent individuals I have ever met at any conference (or un-conference as we say in REBar land).   Attendees aren’t even limited to Charlotte, the Carolinas, or even the South, but they come from across the nation, to  hear what you have to say about real estate, and how you are using technology to make your business work.

So, with that being said, we want you to gear up for June 11th. Be thinking what you have to offer.  Sure, sessions are pitched and facilitated. But if you think you are coming to Charlotte to just sit and listen, well… that tain’t happenin’!   No sirree.  Sessions are interactive!  That is what makes a REBarCamp great.  No one person should talk the entire session, or God Forbid, “teach.”   No, REBarCamp is about sharing.  Brain storming.  Hearing different ideas and plans of action, and choosing what might be best for you. But the key is to share yourself. That is what REBarCamp is really supposed to be about.

So in preparation, be thinking about the technologies you use, and what you want to learn about. Be prepared to network and interact, and you will come away from REBCCLT more knowledgeable, engaged, and ready for the future of real estate.  We look forward to seeing all of you June 11th!
